clean rooms - great location near shops and eateries - close to O-dori Park Snow Festival. The Chinese lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful - she even spoke Chinese and we had a nice chat. The breakfast at MEM restaurant was amazing - with lots of options including Sapporo's famous curry soup. Convenient convenience store and souvenir shop in the hotel.

We liked nothing. Definitely not 4.5 stars, maximum of 3 stars. Only good thing was the location..

We disliked plenty. The service was terrible, from when the porters refused to take our bags and told us to park our car ourselves, take the bags from the carpark to reception ourselves, to the very small room. The breakfast buffet was noisely packed up around us at 9.30am to where we had no choice, the food was cold and we had to ask for many things to simply eat a simple breakfast. A typical Japanese old business style hotel that claims better, but no way. We have stayed in plent of hotels in Japan, but this one for the price is over priced, smell of smoke, small rooms and definitely not 4.5 stars. Max 3 stars.

Old fashion, not very clean, the bed, the bed sheet and the pillow are not comfortable! It should not charge that high price. It should not claim itself a high standard hotel!!! I will tell all of my friends don't choose this hotel if they go to Sapporo!

loved the breakfast buffet and convenient location near the station and shopping malls. Crowne Plaza exceeded my expectations during the crab fest - great service, comfortable rooms, and high-quality toiletries.

I chose to stay at Crowne Plaza because of its proximity to the Sapporo JR Tower Observatory T38. I was pleasantly surprised by the enticing selection of freshly baked cakes and homemade bread at the hotel. The sky lounge with its night view was also a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. The skillful Japanese chefs really brought out the depth of flavor in the food and overall, I enjoyed the variety of food and drink options available throughout the day.

Given a smoking room without asking during check-in at around 2 pm. Despite requesting a change due to the strong smoke smell, the staff initially claimed no spare rooms were available.

A nice, large scale hotel.

My mattress was really rather saggy on the outside edge. But I did sleep comfortably enough considering.

I really got great value for my money at the hotel. The location was convenient, near Sapporo Station and a variety of shops and eateries. The staff were incredibly helpful, even going out of their way to find us a restaurant on New Year's Eve when many places were closed. And the best part was the airport coach that stopped right outside the hotel, making it easy for us to catch our flight.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was more variety.

The sky banquet rooms on the 23rd and 24th floors offer a mesmerizing atmosphere with beautiful views. Perfect for any special event! The sukiya-style tatami room is truly authentic and the sound and lighting are perfectly synchronized. An amazing experience for everyone! The guest rooms are absolutely exquisite, creating a pleasurable environment that caters to both business and leisure travelers. Loved the natural color toning and comfortable interiors!

Personally, I didn't enjoy the flat-screen TV in the room. It's just my subjective opinion, as others may still find it enjoyable.

The gym staff could have been more friendly, but everything else at the hotel was fantastic. The front office staff were efficient and spoke English well. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The laundry service was impressive, with our items neatly wrapped individually. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with an airport limousine coach stopping right in front. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location; short walking distance to JR Tower, ESTA and Daimaru. No shortage of shopping and restaurants. The twin room is good size and comfortable even though the fittings are old; important thing is everything works! Free Wi-Fi.

Still uses key to the door and only one key provided for two occupants. The breakfast spread is reasonable but should vary a little - no change for 4 days of breakfast.

The hotel has a convenient location, with easy access to transportation and nearby tourist spots. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and well equipped with amenities. The service was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a good spread of options to choose from.

I think the room rate is over charged when compare with room facility and location. The hotel is very old and not in good condition.
